COVID-19 SHIPPING UPDATE

From Not to Haute is continuing to closely monitor the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding ongoing concerns about the coronavirus COVID-19 as we transition into the new year.

We’d like to address a few questions we have received regarding customer orders.

  1. Delayed Shipments - Work restrictions may continue to affect shipments to and from our warehouse/vendor warehouses to impacted areas. Please reach out to our Customer Experience Team at design@fromnottohaute.com, via chat on our site, by phone at 214-233-5384, or via our online form (https://www.fromnottohaute.com/pages/contact-us) if you are experiencing delays or have questions about the status of an order.

  2. Delivery Partners - We are in close communication with our freight and parcel delivery partners, which are all adhering to the guidelines from government authorities related to the containment of COVID-19. We will inform you of any relevant changes or possible delays to delivery procedures in accordance with CDC guidelines. Upon request, our Customer Experience Team can provide you with alternative options of delivery. *PLEASE NOTE that threshold and white glove deliveries may be adjusted to protect the safety of delivery agents and clients alike.

GENERAL DECOR ITEMS

Lead time and shipping varies depending on the product. Information will be specified in each product description. Please note, changes to an address cannot be made after 48 hours of order receipt. Once your order has been placed in our shipping queue, we cannot make changes to the order.

 

BACKORDERED ITEMS

Our team works hard to update our site often to reflect the most accurate stock and estimated shipping  timeframes. Changes to an estimated shipping time frame attributed to a delay in production may occur  and are subject to change. Our team will notify you of any changes to the item(s) in your order and ship  any available items. Furniture and artwork orders cannot be canceled due to a backorder. Once an order  is created, it is sent to the manufacturer. A cancellation cannot be processed once the manufacturer has  confirmed the order.

 

PILLOWS / TEXTILES

We strive to have all in stock items shipped as quickly as possible. Certain products are made to order  and will ship within 5-7 business days. Carrier tracking information will be provided once shipped.  Transit times vary depending on product and location. Once shipped you should expect your order to  arrive in 2-7 business days.

 

ARTWORK

Our artwork is custom, made-to-order. Please allow 6-8 weeks from our vendors for fulfillment and delivery, unless otherwise specified on the product page. Due to the custom nature of our pieces, all  artwork sales are final. 

 

RUGS

Most of our rugs, subject to availability, typically ship between 3-4 weeks from the date of your order,  unless otherwise specified on the product page. Please allow another week for delivery.

 

LIGHTING

Most lighting, subject to availability, should ship between 2-3 weeks from the date of your order, unless  otherwise specified on the product page. Please allow another week for delivery.

At this time we do not ship to Alaska and Hawaii. We apologize for any inconvenience!

 

SHIPPING TO CANADA

All of our items ship from within the United States. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. We cannot ship furniture, artwork, mirrors, lighting, or rugs to Canada at this time. Please contact design@fromnottohaute.com for any additional assistance. Customers are responsible for import taxes, carrier fees, and customs declarations. Please allow 10-14 additional business days for delivery.

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to the U.S. territories or foreign countries other than Canada at this time.  From Not to Haute is not responsible for any damaged pieces that are shipped through a forward shipping company and any initial and/or return shipping costs associated with a general return. OVERSIZED/FRAGILE DELIVERIES 

Most of our furniture and artwork, in addition to large lighting, rugs, and mirrors will be delivered third party by a delivery service provider. If in stock, most pieces ship within 3-4 weeks of order receipt, unless otherwise specified. Custom pieces usually ship within 8-10 weeks unless otherwise specified on the product page. Transit typically takes 7-10 business days. This timeframe includes hub transfers, sorting, and inspections. Please refer to the estimated shipping timeframe noted on the product page for each piece.

 

Once ready to be delivered, a representative from your local delivery agent will reach out to you directly to schedule a time that works for you to deliver your piece. The representative will assist in moving and placing the piece in the desired space of your home (no more than one flight of stairs). Please note: an oversized/fragile item fee covers the cost of moving the oversized piece into the desired space and does not include package material removal or assembly. This fee does not include White Glove Delivery services. 

 

Before your appointment, please make sure the walkway and the area where you’d like the item placed are clear. The delivery agent cannot move existing furniture to make room for the new item. The agent is also unable to remove unwanted furniture or make any modifications to your home. 

We ask that you take the time to review your delivery upon its arrival, and provide a signature upon receipt. DAMAGED PRODUCT

Damages to the merchandise while in transit, or defects in manufacturing are rare, but occasionally do happen. Should your piece arrive with a defect or damage we will do our very best to have a replacement shipped out to you as soon as possible. 

Please fully inspect your furniture at the time of delivery and note any damage or defect to our customer experience team within 48 hours of receipt, so that we may file a claim and include in your delivery documents.

 

If you refuse your furniture, artwork, lighting, rug, and mirror delivery due to damage or manufacturing defect, the piece will be brought back to the local delivery terminal. We will then review and evaluate the condition of the piece. Please note, the claims process for damaged furniture, artwork, lighting, rugs, and mirrors takes 2-3 weeks to finalize and issue a replacement. Our team will work hard to have a replacement issued and shipped as soon as possible.

 

Furniture that is refused due to non-damage or defect related feedback will be will be issued store credit as a refund less the original handling fee charges and a 15% restocking fee.
